Last year I decided to take part in the One Word 365 Day Challenge. For 2016 my key word to focus on for the year was Create. I managed to create a host of opportunities for the I Luv 2 Globe Trot brand. Some of these included globe-trotting to 8 countries, contributing to The Guardian, as well as being featured in Essence magazine and at the end of the year a mention in a Forbes travel article.
I surely made sure to create opportunities out of nothing, some coming about based on the creation of previous blog posts and contacts reaching out to us for features. A roundup of 2016 globetrotting can be found here. Now that we are stepping into a new year, I decided that I would Luv to take part in this one word challenge again for 2017.
While I of course would like to continue upon the creation of opportunities for I Luv 2 Globe Trot this year, I feel that a new key word for the year describes my hopes not only for the brand of I Luv 2 Globe Trot, but also on a personal and spiritual level.
My word for 2017 would have to be Abundance.
I’m looking forward to having an Abundance of opportunities to Trot the globe.
An Abundance of opportunities to Grow the I Luv 2 Globe Trot brand.
An Abundance of opportunities for Love.
As as well as an Abundance of Success as well.
I feel uber confident in my ability to find and be lead to opportunities for our travel site here. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to what’s to come in 2017 regarding the travel app, clothing brand and hopefully more freelance writing.
