Greetings globetrotters! I hope that you’ve been well and are having a fabulous summer thus far. I recently completed a road trip to florida with my niece and sister in order to experience a stay at Shangri-la Treehouse in Tallahassee, Florida. It was the ultimate luxury treehouse experience to have in the south. Tallahassee is around 5 hours away from us in Atlanta, Georgia and the Shangri-la Treehouse most certainly lived up to its name!
Accomodations
Shangri-la Treehouse comes fully equipped and stocked with necessities in the kitchen. I was so impressed to see that Mrs. Sharon had the essentials to cook and make coffee, but she even went above and beyond with milk, juice, eggs, and other staples in the kitchenette. Its absolutely perfect for those how have completed a long journey and want to unwind. Additionally, every stay comes with a bottle wine of your choosing and snacks like chips and chocolates. The luxury treehouse is a perfect choice for a small family of 3-4 (adults only 21+). Or for a couple to unwind in a picturesque setting.
You can take in the stunning views of the surrounding forest from the huge bay windows while laying in the cozy (and when I say cozy I mean Really cozy) bed or while sitting on the private balcony. We also enjoyed the offerings at the luxury treehouse which included a relaxing area upstairs to lounge in which later turned into an additional sleeping area for my niece. We played games like monolopy and connect four, which were offered at the resort. Then at the end of the day you can sooth your muscles in the two-seat jacuzzi tub.
Luxury Treehouse Amenities
One of the things that I also loved about Shangri-la Treehouse was how thoughtful they were with providing a host of amenities for guests. A dishwasher, washer & dryer, barbecue utensils, and the like for grilling were all available. Furthermore, for the stargazers and bird watchers, binoculars and a telescope are also located on the property. Additionally, one of the best parts was being able to unwind and relax in the hot-tub on the private balcony.
I honestly can’t recommend the Shangri-la Treehouse enough. For those looking for a luxury treehouse experience, this stay surely will have you covered.
